Music from Basil Poledouris' Conan the Barbarian is scheduled for three concert programs in Spain in January 2027, with appearances in Madrid and Barcelona.

Film Symphony Orchestra opens the sequence on January 2 at Madrid's Auditorio Nacional de Música. Its Koros program, conducted by Constantino Martínez-Orts, places Conan the Barbarian among large-scale film and concert works including Carmina Burana, The Mission, and music from the Star Wars films.

The Royal Film Concert Orchestra follows with two programs under conductor Fernando Furones. Morricone y 100 años de Cine reaches the Auditorio Nacional on January 10, and Hans Zimmer & The Best Epic Film Music comes to Barcelona's Palau de la Música Catalana on January 14. Both official programs include Conan the Barbarian.

Three performances in two major Spanish concert halls offer another sign of the score's continuing life beyond the film, more than four decades after its premiere.

Three dates, two orchestras

The venue listings identify the film score but do not name a particular cue or suite. Audiences may hear a familiar concert selection, but the exact music has not been announced. Programs can also change, so the official event pages remain the best source for final details and tickets.
